At Wear Me Wheatbag, we take great care in designing and crafting products that are safe, effective, and long-lasting.

Because our products are heat-based and rely on correct use, please read the following carefully.


Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind.


Faulty or Damaged Products

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@wearmewheatbag.co.nz with photos and a description of the issue.

Where required under the Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ), we will repair, replace, or refund the product.


Important: Use & Heating Responsibility

Our wheat bags are designed to be heated in a microwave and must be used strictly in accordance with the instructions provided.

By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge:

  • Heating times must not be exceeded
  • Heating should always begin at the lower recommended time, as microwave wattages vary and some appliances heat more quickly than others
  • The wheat bag must be shaken or turned during heating to prevent hot spots
  • The wheat bag must be placed in the microwave so the turntable can rotate freely
  • If the turntable is obstructed, overloaded, or not rotating, this can cause uneven heating and dangerous hot spots
  • You are responsible for ensuring your microwave is suitable for heating wheat bags, as some manufacturers advise against heating certain items
  • Microwave performance and heating results vary between appliances
  • Overheating may result in burning, charring, or smoke
  • Misuse or overheating may pose a fire risk

Exclusions (No Refunds or Replacements)

We do not offer refunds or replacements where damage has occurred due to:

  • Overheating or heating beyond recommended guidelines
  • Failure to follow heating or safety instructions
  • Incorrect microwave use, including obstructed or non-rotating turntables
  • Use in a microwave that is unsuitable or not recommended for heating wheat bags
  • Uneven heating caused by appliance faults or variations
  • General wear and tear

Once a product has been used, we are unable to determine how it has been heated or handled, and therefore cannot accept responsibility for damage occurring during use.


Goodwill Resolutions

In some cases, we may choose to offer a replacement as a gesture of goodwill. This is at our sole discretion and does not indicate liability.
